Dedicated Student Advocacy for California Special Education

At Inkwell Education Law, we believe that when parents, school staff, and attorneys set aside their differences and put students at the center, everyone wins. Founded by Ines Kuperschmit, a UCLA School of Law graduate with more than 20 years of experience spanning nonprofit advocacy, public interest fellowships, and school district partnership work, Inkwell brings a rare, balanced perspective to education law. We represent students with IEPs and special needs, families navigating disciplinary proceedings, and communities seeking to understand and exercise their legal rights. Unlike most education attorneys who work exclusively on one side, Ines has represented both families and school districts, giving her a clear-eyed understanding of where the law aligns and how to reach meaningful outcomes quickly. We serve families across California, from San Diego to Fresno, including Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and Riverside County, and we are proud to offer services in Spanish to ensure no family is left without a voice.
